Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Lockbox Cards ("LockBox," "we," "us"), based in the United States. By creating an account or using LockBox you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Who can use LockBox

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• If you are 13 to 17, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms for you and supervise your use, including any trades.
• Children under 13 may not create an account. If we learn one has, we will delete it.

Your account

Keep your password private and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at help@lockbox.cards if you think someone else has accessed it.

Beta

LockBox is currently in a free beta. Features, limits and plans may change, and the service may be interrupted. If we start charging for memberships, we will tell you before you are charged anything.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, card details, messages and other content you add. You give us permission to store, display and process it to run LockBox — for example, to show your collection to friends, estimate prices and read card details from photos. Only upload content you have the right to share.

Prices are estimates

Card values are estimates based on past sales and are not appraisals or offers to buy. See our price note.

Trades between collectors

• LockBox helps collectors find and agree on trades. We are not a party to any trade and do not hold, ship, inspect or guarantee cards.
• Describe your cards honestly, including condition, grade, parallels and serial numbering.
• Only offer cards you own and can deliver. Ship what you agreed to, when you agreed to.
• Members under 18 should only trade with a parent's or guardian's approval.
• Disputes are between the traders. Contact us if someone breaks these rules and we may suspend their account.

Rules of conduct

Don't use LockBox to:

• scam, mislead or pressure other members, or sell counterfeit or altered cards;
• harass, threaten or send hateful or sexual content, especially to minors;
• break the law or anyone else's rights;
• scrape, overload, hack or interfere with the service.

To report someone, email help@lockbox.cards or use the help chat. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms.

AI features

Some features, such as reading cards from photos, Top Picks and the help chat, use AI. AI can make mistakes — check important details yourself.

Disclaimers and limits

LockBox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for losses from trades, price estimates or decisions you make using the service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to $50 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

Ending your account

You can stop using LockBox at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing help@lockbox.cards. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and will post the new date above; for important changes we'll notify you in the app. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Lockbox Cards is based.
